PM Modi Prioritize Northeast To Grow If India Is To Become Economically Strong



Northeast states have enough potentialities to open wide global market relating to South East Asia domain due to which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prioritize this zone for financial aid to boost its development process and is restless on its slow progress.



In regard to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s discomfort in slow progress of various development projects in the northeast the Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju on his recent meet with him added, ‘Kirenji, kuch kijiye’ (Kirenji, do something).”


Kiren Rijiju who is trying to release Rs 150 crore for the implementation of urban development projects in certain regions of Northeast marked that the gaps have to be sealed first for effective outcome of policies at the Northeastern Region (NER) Dialogue on “Impact Analysis of NER Industrialisation Enabled through Central Government Policies” by the Northeast MPs Forum (NEMPF) on 16th December.




Even Minister of State for Development of the Northeastern Region (DoNER) Jitendra Singh on this eve stressed on Modi’s high priority to northeast development for which he is ready help financially and with logical note added, “We cannot allow one part of a country to lag behind if we have to be a global power.”
