Dhubri, Karimganj and Mancachar Called Upon To Seal Their Fate Secure By Sonowal

It is no more a matter remaining solely upon Assam government about border infiltration as public of reverine areas like Dhubri, Karimganj and Mancachar should seal illegal immigration by not encouraging the immigrants according to Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.


Addressing to the public residing near India-Bangladesh border Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal addressed it is not a matter of threat only to the National security but about people’s right for safe living and cattle security.

It is time to strengthen the government and the border security to put a cease to cross border illegal activities like smuggling of cattle and goods. The BJP led government will make all possible arrangements for powerful fencing only if people cooperate for enduring result.



Sonowal inciting for joint move to public and assuring future protection mentioned, “would appraise the Centre and would demand immediate measures. Urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to entrust the construction of the fencing of the India-Bangladeshborder to the Indian Army.” It is a costly matter the cross border infiltration, Sonowal reflecting to a past incident cited how BSF jawans exempted loss of Rs. 22 lakhs by securing 260 cattle from Rahim Badsha of India in the Dhubri district.
