Nalbari, Assam Chose Technology to Redefine Education System

Technology adapt in education system is today essential to access right knowledge and broaden perspective to which Ramesh Chandra Jain, the Mission Director of Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan (RMSA) at the ITE exhibition cum-closing ceremony of the summer camp stressed on teachers to become techno friendly.
  

Lamenting on teacher’s lack of urge to adapt new skills of computer to apply it in education,  Jain mentioned that 3000 secondary teachers will be trained on computer skills by RMSA to ease their teaching process through technology. Qualified teachers will be provided with certificates after completing the training.

To update on the role of technology in this fast paced world, the IIT Guwahati will contribute in educating the HS level Science teachers on it.

In this summer camp there were 108 participants who were trained on usage of technology like videography and digital reading applications for pursuit of effective education, derived from 90 schools placed in the districts of Kamrup, Baksa and Nalbari of Assam.

Following this small initiative to implement technology in education, a joint venture project will be conducted in the similar field in 15 models schools, 25 upper primary and 50 secondary schools in the three districts by Tata Trust and Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan along with Grammya Vikash Manha.
