'Phor’ a Medium for Northeast to Speak in Image & Win Laurel

Improved 4th version of photography exhibition ‘Pohor’ i sset to ablaze creative minds of Northeast with display of  exclusive worldwide photographs at the State Art Gallery, Rabindra Bhawan in Assam.


This time the photography committee of ‘Phor’ organization decided to display the selected 69 photographs out 93 photographs sent from nationwide. In this 4th edition annual photography exhibition organized by Photography Club of Assam (PCA), the event committee received thousands of photographs from worldwide for contest.  

In this three-days exhibition the photographs were judged by the senior members of the screening committee. This image evaluative event is quite valuable to the aspirants in photography field as it opens doors to get major exposure through interactive session and workshops.


Visitors response is quite exhilarating, Bidyasagar Baruah a member of the event said, “Thousands of  visitors is a testimony of growing popularity off this platform. Put effort that with every passing year, crowd and participants figure increases.” The committee of ‘Phor’ on humanitarian ground will contribute a portion from the collection of money to CM’s Flood Relief Fund to save the lives in flood affected areas.
