Nagaland’s Collaborative Effort for a Healthy State

 
Nagaland DC & Vice Chairman of Kohima, Rovilatuo Mor IAS in a tryst with Adoption Committee members, NHAK doctors and ward leaders exchanged ideas in the endeavor to counteract major health issues at the special health camp, RGHSS Kohima on 3rd August.  


This health awareness programme was conducted at Multipurpose Hall to drive large scale people to understand present health challenges and fast adapt to right medical process. This health camp initiative has been undertaken by Kohima DPDB High School Ward Adoption Committee in special joint effort with NHAK (comprised of reputed doctors, ward staff and nurses).


Free consultation and check-ups in this camp was conducted in respective health categories like Paediatric, ENT, Medicine, Gynaecology and Surgery despite of age and gender factors.
 

In this health camp attempt there was good response from the public and about 600 patients benefited from it. Rovilatuo Mor IAS as the chief guest thanking people’s cooperation urged them to become more health conscious as present lifestyle has changed significantly due to transformation of the ecosystem.


According to Kohima DC interest and initiative by a gathering does play a pivotal role in spreading fast awareness about current health issues. Importance of health camp is to guideline people on remedial steps for particular health issues and to open up one’s clarity on health doubt. In addition bring awareness on sanitation including environment challenges for longer race in life. This programme especially fits the under privileged people by availing them free treatment and consultation.
