The Assam police and security agencies figured that Ansar Bangla Team (ABT) , a wing of the Al Qaeda Indian subcontinent made its statistic to command its influence from Assam base to all over India way back in 2018.
The security agencies and Assam Police were able crack ABT’s networking in Assam with arrest of its members in 2020. The missing five Bangladeshi hardcore outfits of ABT seem to be merged in other parts of India though not confirm about their escape to Nepal. Assam police on a haunt for these five absconding Bangladeshi hardcore outfits of ABT for they have merged Jihad in deep root with Bangladeshi nationals who infiltrated to practice Jihadi in the state.
