The effect of Prime Minister’s drive to get 15 to 18 years students get vaccinated nationally is evident when Assam’s secondary Education Department instructed the additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) in charge of education to conduct smooth vaccination of all students.

Under this 15-18 years student’s vaccination drive all the private and venture schools will be covered under this programme where the principals are instructed to encourage the students to motivate the parents in this drive.

Fish market usually known for its stinky and dirtiness which the National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB), North East Regional Centre is to change with new moto ‘Swachta Pakhwada’ a cleanliness drive applied newly at Betkuchi wholesale fish market.

 

Emphasized on hygiene in fish market which is crucial to keep the environment clean and safe Managing Director of the Assam Apex Cooperative Fish Marketing and Processing Federation Limited (Fishfed) pleaded the fish traders and workers to achieve this objective for better trading. Omicron Stresses Assam For New SOP And Aged For Booster Dose

Omicron is compatibly a higher version of all COVID cases where Assam being stressed out by the deadly virus with six detection in Tinsukia district that set alarm call in the state where the government instructed fresh SOP from 11:30 pm to 6 am.

Assam On Gear For More Vistadome Classic Experience

Edging to give swift technological wings to railway network by Assam Government and Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) have taken a big initiative by launching two more Vistadome trains apart from Guwahati and Haflong venture with further eyes to extent it to Bardapur.

In the advent to boost trade and tourism in the state Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma decided to extent the Haflong Vistadome rail network to Bardapur as proposed by the Silchar MP Dr. Rajdeep Roy to attract tourist towards the scenic beauty of Borail mountain and NC Hills. Assam Government along with NFR have materialized the biggest challenge by networking Vistadome outside the state to Naharlung, Arunachal Pradesh.

Guwahati Direct Wing To Pune

In a successful attempt to bridge more connectivity nationwide at crucial junction Assam’s Guwahati international airport has initiated direct flight service to Pune.

Indigo airline services has executed air operation between Guwahati base and Pune base airport at 11 pm on Wednesday. The flag off ceremony was virtually conducted by Indigo’s Chief Strategy and Revenue officer Sanjay Kumar and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia including Queen Oja Assam Lok Sabha member.

The flight is scheduled to take off at 10:40 pm from Guwahati and return from Pune at 2:50 am as per Indigo official on this new air venture.

World Bank’s Rs 100 CR Financial Support To Assam For Safer Boat Transportation

In the attempt to make safer transportation by best engine fitted private boats to control boat mishap the World Bank has sanctioned Rs. 100 crore to implement the Jiban Dinga scheme where the Assam government is quite positive about its outcome.

 

Already much boat owners have shown positive response to government’s approach of implementing the Jiban Dinga scheme to improve the condition of the privately operated vessels. Key issues of implementing this scheme is that the demand of private boats are high where larger boats are not equipped with marine engines and existent boats do not have the capacity to maneuver during emergency cases. So the government is planning to replace agriculture pumps, motorcycle engines and others with marine engine and for this upgrade will provide 70% of the cost to the private boat owners.

NHRC On To Camp Sitting To Hear On Human Rights Violation In Guwahati

In the urge of controlling human rights violations from five northeast states like Assam, Manipur, ArunachalPradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has conducted “Camp Sitting and Public Open Hearing” in Guwahati at Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara on 16th December that is to preside on 17th December also.

 

This event which is launched by NHRC chairperson Justice Arun Mishra about thirty one cases relating to the five states will be raised at the Camp Sitting including fresh complaints.

Assam 10 Plus 2 Education System On To A New Version

NEP (National Education Policy) has implemented a new education structure 5+3+3+4 that is to replace school’s 10 plus 2 system that is to commence for administrative purpose on 1st January, 2022 before bringing into effect on 2022-23 academic session.

According to the nomenclature of the new education structure the foundational stage nursery (1+2) will be called ‘Buniyadi’ while (3+ 4 + 5) the preparatory stage will be named as ‘Prastuti’ while (6+7+8) the middle stage will be termed as ‘Madhyamik’ whereas (9+10+11+12) the secondary stage will be termed as ‘Uccha Madhyamik’.

‘Buniyadi’ and ‘Prastuti’ will be under Directorate of Elementary Education while ‘Madhyamik’ and ‘Uccha Madhyamik’ will be under Directorate of School Education.
