Sixteen years late the hope of giving direction to Assam Accord has taken to new height as the BJP led Assam government prepares to make a roadmap of AASU’s demand within three months time frame.
Identification and deportation of illegal immigrants demand was made by the AASU way back in 1979 which will take into shape under Assam government by heading a committee to implement the pact strategically.
A roadmap of Assam Accord will consist 8 member panel including members of AASU and cabinet ministers under CM Himanta’s direction.
