Scenario of COVID cases in Guwahati metro appeared quite controlled with minimal deaths and infected cases previously but later due to interdistrict opening has triggered 40% jump in the infected cases from the non-residents group.
The Kamrup (Metro) administration and the health department are still on the survey of floating population the non-residents of Guwahati.
Daily 30-40% infected cases were detected from non-residents of Guwahati city. East Guwahati is analyzed to be getting highest threat as the outsiders are believed to be the super spreader.
