Tripura NLFT Militants On To A New Move To Abide By Laws


Tripura Government and the central government of India recently made tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) pact with NLFT (SD) who agreed to give up the path of violence and abide by the laws of Indian constitution like any normal citizen and serve state’s purpose by fulfilling all the commitment made by them.


A welfare scheme titled as “Surrender-cum-Rehabilitation” dated 2018 last year scheme under the Ministry of Affairs to give new meaning to life of the surrendered militants with provisions of special benefits to bring them into normalcy to equate life with general public. Facilities like housing, education, skill development training and jobs including many others will be provided to them as per to the state governments’ proposal to uplift the tribal and backward area people to be a force in Tripura’s economic progress.
