People might feel strange but the
State Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya with the team of department’s
official along with concerned Railway staff is planning to intrude through
highly sensitive Deepor Beel area of Guwahati city for network development
without disturbing elephant’s corridor.
Today the forest department has
decided to make a future plan to take the challenging task to save the pristine
Deepor Beel environment without affecting elephant’s corridor and at the same
time helping railway department to create diversification for effective regional
networking.
According to the minister Parimal Suklabaidya
this sensitive matter will be taken with full consent of the local tribe dominant
in the area keeping restoration and conservation environment theme intact where
recently on 1st June a meet on
this issue was attempted by the forest minister without creating any
exploitation of its resources.
