Gold, Silver & Bronze, Haryana Olympic Medalists Are An Inspiration To Indian Sports

A new vision opened door by the Haryana medalists at Olympics 2020, Tokyo that India can be named in the top rank list of elite international sports.

Though even Northeast has contribution in Indian sports, putting country’s name in A list but what Haryana guys did in Tokyo Olympics was out of track achievement who each carried three medals bronze, silver and gold without missing a point below.

Now that is a strategy that Haryana sports has evolved to deliver the best time to time to Indian sports where this year’s Olympics was sensational of all with three medal winners from the state carrying nation’s name high.

Haryana first started with Ravi Kumar Dahiya an Indian freestyle wrester who achieved silver medal at 57kg at 2020 Tokyo Olympics who previously remained as a bronze medallist in Asian Championship and World Wrestling Championship. Dahiya derived from a small village Nahri of Haryana who adapted wrestling skills at the age of ten under the training of Satpal Sing in North Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium

Started second by Haryana with Bajrang Punia the freestyle wrestler who achieved bronze at Olympics 2020 in Tokyo.  Wrestler Bajrang Punia hailed from a remote village Khudan in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

Finally went with a grand ending by Haryana with javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra who achieved second Olympic Gold for India after Abhinav Bindra the 2008 winner in shooting. The first track and field athlete of India Neeraj Chopra’s 87.58m at the second attempt had won the first place in Olympics 2020.

Neeraj Chopra hailed from Panipat district, Haryana where he got training from Jaiveer Singh at the early age as he secured 40-metre javelin throw without any prior training.
