The second wave of COVID in Guwahati, Assam is still emergent and can go back to previous state if off guard behavior is not controlled.
COVID virus is still in the air, the Delta variant which caused severe damage during second wave is still there where its new variant ‘plus’ is more contagious and deadly and though Guwahati figure of infection is now in tame but can trigger fall in COVID protocol.
Past one month in the Guwahati Medical Colege Hospital the figure of registered cases remained quite static within 100 to near 300 cases in comparison to previous 500 mark.
Stress from community generated COVID cases are more than to other sources as people are slowly lowering their guard by dropping mask protocol due to calm down in figure.
