CUTS International, Jaipur Is Into Building Healthy And Secure River Trade Relation ‘Maitre Setu’

CUTS International, a Jaipur based innovative NGO is into building healthy and secure river trade relation ‘Maitre Setu’ (friendship bridge) with Bangladesh and India via Northeast.

 

It is an elongated river relation of about 1,476 m between two nations Bangladesh and Tripura India. Connecting river Feni 1,193 m from Tripura, India with rest in Bangladesh to reduce the cost and time of trading by erecting solid structure to move in heavy to very heavily loaded vehicles for commercial purposes.

 

It will be a new avenue for both India and Bangladesh for economic boost and connectivity where through this concrete business link Northeast states like Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal, Mizoram and Nagaland will be foremost benefited from this river trade relation.
