Economy, rural development,
infrastructure development and employment have been driven far ahead by Chief
Minister Biplab Kumar Dev with big mission to make Tripura as NE’s gateway to
South-Asian Market with soon establish of port, railway and flight services to
the nearest international countries like Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar,
Malaysia, Singapore and Srilanka.
But strangely to his astonishment
when he stepped down to speculate on the initial norms of cleanliness in
Agartal for which he has great plan had found that all crucial market areas and
busy zones were dominated with garbage. This disappointing performance of
Agartala Municipal Corporation had sent Tripura Chief Minister Biplab in fire
which was expressed to the media after public interaction on garbage management
by the appointed officers in charge, declared one month ultimatum to AMC for
speedy act else everyone’s job will be at stake.
If Tripura Chief Minister has
enough substance to prove in one month then he will be an example to entire
Northeast as he has mentioned, “Agartala is a small area in comparison to
Andhra Pradesh which can be kept clean much easily by its municipal
department.” In one month if Tripura authority can bring change to hygiene system
in public infested areas then Agartala will become India’s best sought ideal
metro area with its speedy development process and landscape beauty.
