Northeast Along With Assam Sees Signs Of Relief From River Innundation


Northeast along with Assam sees signs of relief from the turbulence of overflowing rivers for past several days and experiencing low intensity rainfall activities in all the flood affected districts.

Moreover the flood related death reports have climbed down as within 24 hours observation the clouds have cleared with faint record of rainfall but it does not certifies that there are no villages under water. According to the Assam state Disaster Management Authority 13 districts have not signed off from the impacts of flood.

Barpeta and Kamrup districts are set up with highest relief distribution centers as both are the worst affected areas in entire Assam. Moreover it will take some more days for Brahmaputra river to subside completely.
