What Patients To Expect During Unpredictable Strike Call By The Nationwide Doctors In The Future?

Stirring the doctors’ community to rage the public nationwide has come to realize how harshly it can affect the health system of the nation.

But the entire Northeast public need to be aware what challenges lies ahead during possible call of doctors strike in nationwide, especially the senior citizens, emergency cases and scheduled important operation cases will be ritually followed in all healthcare centres on humanitarian ground.

Battle is far length to go when the two assault cases against the Kolkata doctors will be proceeded in the Supreme Court as no one could predict how the agitation to take place and impact the entire healthcare scenario of India.

According to Guwahati doctor Deeprita Borah who stated, “The strike called by the doctor’s association on yesterday somehow went peacefully but it is a lesson for the public to prior make appointment first instead of landing directly at doctor’s court during such unpredictable phase. As  most doctors will be actively involved during nationwide agitation that will definitely impact in health service.”

Assam’s No.1 regional healthcare centre “Downtown” official on support of patients who are confused whether it will be the right time to consult the doctor for serious ailment as abrupt in continued treatment service could heavily impact the victim and highlighted, “OT or operation cases and emergency cases will be attended by the doctors in charge during any nationwide phase of strike. But determining on the changes of decision by the doctors’ body the health services can be impacted. On this new march of agitation at present phase the impact is minimal in entire Northeast where on time doctor’s service is concerned. But future situation is unpredictable.”

Even Guwahati Medical College senior staff added, “People can resume their normal course of health consultation from today on 18^th June Tuesday. The doctors on this national march of agitation cannot completely neglect the patients as due to them they exist. But where the matter of justice and security of doctor’s body is concerned should be concentrated and support will be provided to shower Integrity.”

Like Assam even NE states like Mizoram, Manipur and rest states had shown strong solidarity towards one common cause of doctor’s agitation along with entire nation. Analyzing the situation in Northeast, the public need to be more prompt in clearing off their health issues during this peaceful phase at their concerned health centres to overcome the future hurdles.
