Nature Has Its Way But To Avert Future Natural Calamity Assam Government Makes Crucial Move

Today many a human errors had been undermined for long as public are still not aware potentially how mining and earth cutting or forest disappearance triggers natural calamity as it bears no instant impact but the present government had initiated to stop crucial mining process to avert future call of danger.


Assam government lead by BJP’s Sarbananda Sonowal has directed on to cease mining and activities relating to it in Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve’s (KNP) boundary in southern direction including adjoining areas of rivers, streams and rivulets originating in Karbi Anglong Hill  areas under Supreme Court influence.


But the prime credit goes to the environment activist Rohit Choudhury for forwarding No. 1431 file application report under the Central Empowered Committee on 1st March this year to the Supreme Court which after detail scrutiny on it by the jury made mining ban effective .on 12th April.

Supreme Court’s mining ban order has been officially issued by Assam’s Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of the Forest Forces on 30th April.
