Poor Vegetable Earner’s Daughter Batted 486/500 In Matric To Top Out Of 67,930 with 100/100 In Science

An incredible story of a small girl who had just appeared in her matriculation exam this year 2019, never imagined that she will bring pride to her parents and inspiration to entire Mizoram with clean 100/100 in science and 486/500 final score in Xth exam despite her poverty and being the daughter of a vegetable seller.

In the top 20 list of students in HSLC examination Lalrinnungi from Sihphir village was honored by region’s authority for her exceptional performance in study field and being the youngest of four in the house had never backed from selling vegetables to support her parents in earning for livelihood without any inhibition

The 16-year old girl Lalrinnungi who topped Mizoram's High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) under Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) on this week Thursday had set five "letter" marks in Mizo, Science, Social Science, Mathematics and English subjects. It seems Lalrinnungi exceeds not only in intelligence but also equivalently in languages.

Held from Aizawl, St Joseph Higher Secondary School, Lalrinnungi is now making waves in entire northeast for being the female matriculation topper out of 67, 930 passed candidates with such exceptional brilliant performance despite financial setback and hardship of life that is very inspiring for the present growing generation in pursuit of education.
