To celebrate the “World Environment Day” by planting one million saplings on approaching 5th June this year 2019, Meghalaya the Northeast state is ready to make a new move to return 'Mother Nature' in the best way for nurturing every living entities and making this world a better place.
It is true that advancement and technology have given a new edge to this advance world but where human can advance without nature or neglecting its potency? To face the reality and the unavoidable relation with nature the Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma is in the emphasis to stir every citizen to act proactively in nurturing nature by planting a sapling.
To boost this noble concept even the noted water conservationist Rajendra Singh popularly known as the "Water Man"of India and title holder of the Ramon Magsaysay Award and the Stockholm Water Prize is to grace the event to support for the noble cause of Meghalaya CM Sangma to allow Meghalaya go green.
