Guwahati City Petrol Stations Seem To Go Cashless During Poll Phases!

On the second phase polling in Assam on 18th April in the capital city Guwahati a great change was found in the voters racing to vote as they take to digital way instead of fuss of notes from the purse during the rush hours at the petrol pumps could easily swipe cards to hurry up for poll stations.

This is a new rule observed by the petrol pump owners to meet the need of maximum voters cum customers at its filling stations for during the poll peak the rush intensifies where cash transaction is a time consuming option that hampers the objective of the people on both sides.

This great initiative is from the Election Commission of India where all the petrol pumps are pressured to observe this law under its new MCC act that is Model Code Of Conduct.
