Assam, Mizoram And Meghalaya Roughened Up As Wind Takes To Cyclonic Form!

It was early hours of 15th April the fall of New Year Celebration in major parts of India where in contrary to warm welcome of Baishakh month with stage of Ronagli Bihu celebration there was follow up of gush of wind which took to  cyclonic form and brought down huge numbers of houses and trees only to pound even more harder on 17th April morning 2:30 a.m-3:55 a.m.

It was mainly the open areas like villages especially which were targeted down by huge cyclonic storm as there not much concrete structures to minimize or break the dashing cyclonic winds. Mizoram recorded highest cyclonic damages.

Severity of this years’ storm is so intense that In certain cases of Meghalaya and Mizoram even the standing houses in hilltops were flattened and route network badly snapped with heavy follow of uprooted trees. Prediction from weather report estimates build up of intense heat during beautiful spring season may be due to build up of more air pressure in open areas of Northeast regions while nearing monsoon could worsen the phase with slash of rain.

But 17th April morning cyclonic lash of wind and rain with high intensity thunder had added intense woes to lower Assam divisions like Kamrup, Barpeta, Goalpara and Maligaon areas. Even rest of Northeast’s states is also heavily affected. The reason behind this year’s intensity of wind speed is yet to be revealed by weather analysts.
