Strange to hear but such unusual ideas crops up when budget is limited where recently Mizoram was found to be using earth excavation technique through implementation of small to big vehicle usage to make NH passage connecting places near to Myanmar border.
After cross checking the registration numbers of the 'earth excavators' as produced in the money receipts to the Mizoram’s State Transport department detected various ordinary vehicles under fake name of ‘earth excavators.’
According to the (Comptroller Auditor General of India) CAG report about 20 to 67 earth excavation works had been completed under the name of similar registered vehicles used in different places of Mizoram like Vapar to Murlen, Tualcheng to Pamchung zones and other earth execution sectors.
Such negligence on the counterpart of the State Transport department for not attempting to cross verify facts on doubtful or inappropriate information gathered from the proprietors of earth excavators was disapproved by the CAG while tabling the matter in the Mizoram's assembly. Usage of earth excavators like scooters, auto-rickshaw and bikes as earth excavator in Mizoram’s remote areas was beyond one’s imagination which the Comptroller Auditor General of India disapproves.
