Northeast, India’s First State With Cloud Computing Governance

First time in Northeast history Sikkim is to emerge as the first state with other cloud computing based governance states of India, it is just not being digital only but for highest security range electronic service purpose this facility is made so that huge draft of data remains secured in ant-theft mode.

In the attempt to make Sikkim a digitally secured zone with its highest security arrangement, its 150 departments including state-owned enterprises to be equipped with Microsoft cloud.

Microsoft has inked MoU pact with Sikkim to introduce technology in its government based education sectors so that its youths can well adapt and lead its e-governance sector most efficiently with highest cloud computing based security. According to Subba from Microsoft this cloud based service tie-up with the Sikkim government is to make state’s youth future- ready to endure in this fast paced digital world. There are many advanced technologies to be introduced by Microsoft  to further enhance digital process in the state’s system.
