Golghat famous for its exclusive tea production has hit the headline for the wrong reason on the national front as the poisonous liquor related deaths of 150 out of 200 hospitalized victims is overgrowing in figure that could be stated as 2019’s biggest massacre sidelining Pulwama massacre toll.
It is a massacre in sense that the people of Golghat locality were fighting from past many years against illegal country made liquor dealers but they had managed to succeed with upper hands empowerment and in this proceeding have fallen into the biggest pit of 150 deaths at one time.
Previously the illegal chemical liquor mixture dealer Saha use to scot free because the numerous deaths from his products did not came to light in such scale in one time. But now there is no escape for Saha this time as he has hit the national front and media glare. To Saha’s foolish stubborn act has intensified action liquor production in Assam, it is a big boon in disguise for the society on the other hand.
