Assam Is In Favor Of Animals Right Where Their Natural Right Is Concerned

Previously due to elephant’s continued interference at NRL’s concrete boundary in 2016, the NGT group had directed the regional oil company of Assam to demolish their wall since as per to the law issued in 1996, the township premise has illicit coverage on "no development zone" according to the Union ministry of environment.

The wall of NRL township was erected way back in 2011 with no intention that it will cause elephant and wildlife department’s furor. Ravaging flood of past years had moved the Deopahar Reserve Forest's animals to search for food and shelter at its  border where NRL’s illicit boundary wall made its coverage due to which animal menace grew.

In 2016 when the matter was reviewed it has detected that the NRL township layout has an illegal possession of Deopahar Reserve Forest’s land and currently the NGT has initiated one month's time to the Assam oil company to demolition the illicit portion of their wall.
