The latest version of Assam
Rifles Pensioners scheme by the central government will provide health benefit
to its retired employees beyond the Indian border in Nepal as well according to
the Home Ministry of India.

Rifles has 92,000 pensioners who will be granted ExServicemen Contributory
Health Scheme (ECHS) membership benefit as approved recently by the Cabinet
Committee on Security’s (CCS).
