glimpse in Guwahati city at the venue of Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra a famous
cultural platform in state's capital.
This special
venue is arranged by the Assam’s Chief Minister Srabananda Sonowal to give an
enthralling welcome to Hima Das for bringing glory to the state whose unbelievable
performance has won million Indian hearts worldwide. Sarbananda Sonowal has made great attempt to bring
change to Assam’s sports system with implementation of the latest technology,
advanced infrastructure, expert coaches and high class amenities to the sports complexes
have today has given a fruitful result.
Assam sports
authority has taken special effort in picking up the best person irrespective
of their background status and given the edged facilities like in the case of
Hima Das. To boost aspirants in sports to take games seriously if they have talent.
As they have enough power to drive a nation today, just like Hima had created
in Indian history. In this special venue that is arranged for Hima’s purpose
the hon’ble Assam Chief Minister will bestow Rs. 1.6 crore reward to her effort
in bringing prestigious international titles at both IAAF Under-20 Athletics
Championships (India’s First Gold Medalist in women race) and Asian Games 2018
(Gold and two Silver Medalist).
