Indian Railway Takes Initiative For Child Trafficking


In the attempt to cut down growing child trafficking crime in India where Indian Railway’s many centers are scanned to be the main transaction points to make shift targeted children to varied destinations where in this concern the National Frontier Railway (NFR) has initiated infrastructure for proper shelter of 25 rescued victims in an area  of 2000 sq.ft.  


Railway authority’s this welfare initiative to provide shelter for victims under Juvenile Act has been pursued with the support, of the POCSO (Protection of Children Against Sexual Offences) Act, Railway Women Welfare Organization (RMWO) and NGOs of child centric based. So that the children brought in this shelter of NFR are provided with the best crucial requirements like nutritional supplement, psychological treatment, social support and medical treatment with all around effort from these bodies to make this noble mission successful.
