going solar way is a new trend that Northeast is slowly adapting where latest Mizoram
after Assam is stepping in to initiate 20 MW solar park under the joint effort
of the state power and electricity department and Zoram Energy Development
Agency (ZEDA).
Mizoram's
20 MW solar park venture was approved by the Solar Power Project Approval
Committee (SPPAC) as per to the
discussion set across in the meeting chaired by Secretary for Power and
Electricity H Lalengmawia where multiple
benefits from its implementation was taken to notice.
The
Solar Power Policy of Mizoram decided to conduct a meeting with all the
departments’ officials to layout plans in harnessing solar energy in their
respective building premises to save energy and money.
