Assam Government Not To Go Easy With NRC Faults

During the phase of poll session the Election Commission had debarred thousands from participation due to infringe of doubt their true nationality. In this process many existing people from decades were asked to produce their documents. State’s officers from foreigners tribunal are undergoing through a rough phase as the sword of BJP government loom over them for due to their failure in producing documents with right frame of foreigners’ account, 19 officers were exempted from their role.

Now even if the referrals from higher authorised people does not match as per to the verification norms then those people will be delisted from NRC account. Tribunals officers were found faulty for the second time due to failure in cooperating with the state police for swift action against foreigners. Many a cases of tribunal verdicts are on to a hold due lack of substantial supplement of legal documents affirming their citizenship in the high court.

The Gauhati High Court does not approve citizenship proof on account of residency certificates from gram panchayats where even Supreme Court disapproves ration cards certificate.
