Social welfare project Moitryee will be
further enhanced to penetrate into core issues affecting state development process
and crime control, encourage police personnel for friendly approach to break
the silence and fear from people to be more interactive.
Enhanced Moitryee welfare project includes
multi aspects like youth counselling on crime driven aspects, digital FIR enable
process, women and child desk help, increased patrol vehicles, latest
infrastructure set up and required amenities for effective crime control.
Assam’s 51 police stations to be revamped soon
with soft skill training centres, modern infrastructure set up, sophisticated
arms equipped police force and required amenity facility to position this crucial
zone of Northeast as the safe haven for economic growth.
Today friendly gel between police and
civilian is crucial in the present scenario to understand the involvement of evil
elements in intensifying crime and hatred in the society, indirectly blocking
state’s development process.
This five years project is to ensure
implement of enhanced security measure to root out social evil from the present
scenario and restore healthy environment to empower people to progress
peacefully in state’s development and economic growth process.
