Meghalaya Next To Keep Stae On Aadhaar Edge Through Appointed Agent


Identity proof has mounted a lot due to immigrant issues as one sample is not enough to claim oneself as proper citizen, Aadhar card which was sidelined in many Northeastern states for long, now the Meghalaya government is planning to make it mandatory where a new agent to be appointed for edging knowledge on its enrollment policy.



According to P.W Ingty, State Nodal Officer-NPR the Government will appoint the agency once detected to be eligible for Unique Identification Authority of India’s (UIDAI) enrollment drive. Notification of making Aadhaar mandatory to possess as state may not show much urgency but schemes and official works concerned relating to Centre the employees are must to produce.
