Increase Population Of BRU Refugees Has Kept Them Entangled In-between Two States

This decades old issue of BRU refugees in Tripura premises has not only increased tension of the adopted state but surmounting pressure on homeland Mizoram government to make fresh space for them.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who earlier on visit last year to North Tripura had asked Mizoram government to end this stalemate but the point that matters is outnumbered figure of BRU refugees from what estimated at the time of shift to border state.

Five hectares of land allotment with provision of multiple required facilities for each repatriated family of BRU refugees camped in Tripura, surmounting pressure on Mizoram to settle the matter at the earliest.

On the other hand Tripura is facing threat from outnumbered figure of BRU refugees as they are adversely impacting on its socio economic and law regulation. In this prespect the BRU community is in entangled phase with unsure future of restoring back into the frame from where they attempted to flee out of pressure.
