Festivity fills the entire environment of Manipur under
demonetisation phase with streets decorated with colorful lights to draw major
tourist attention for ten days much hyped Sangai Festival 2016.
Fun and festivity dons the colorful lighted streets of Manipur
even when cashless period of demonetisation holds people back. In this festive
season to attract large scale of people from the globe about 300 stalls had
been installed to give space for 43 different State government departments
including 35 handloom and Thailand pavilions.
Even to grace this famous cultural festival of Manipur even
foreign delegates will attend. Myanmar's Chief Minister U Hoang Ngai, Japan's
Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu including delegates from Thailand and Sri Lanka
graced the inauguration eve of Sangai Festival 2016, Manipur on 20th
November.
