It is in the wake of tea production's crucial role in state and
Indian economy, the essentiality of tea plantation management course was felt
and launched in Golghat district Commerce college of Assam.
Postgraduate Diploma course in Tea Plantation Management (PDTM)
was introduced in association of North Eastern Tea Association (NETA).
The vice-chairman of Indian Tea Board, Bidyananda Barkakoti
encouraged the students about large opportunities in tea sectors and stressed to
edge their knowledge on this field for brighter career future in it.
