Finally Landlocked Tripura Made It Possible To Bangladesh

This landlocked state of Northeast that had remained handicap from direct access to vital destinations, recently made it possible when its goods transport vehicles arrived from Tripura to Bangladesh.



Surface transport via Tripura to neighboring nation Bangladesh, at Dhaka capital finally materialized with arrival of ten transports carrying diesel, kerosene tankers and LPG bullet.


Tripura’s Industry and Commerce Minister, Tapan Chakraborty welcomed the drivers of the vehicles. According to the drivers the security arrangement was reliable and there was no major issue while arriving in Bangladesh nation.



The routes taken to reach at Bangladesh destination via Tripura is through Meghalaya Dauki border to Sylhet, Moulavibazar, Shamshernagar and Kailasahar. It was a five hours journey to cover up 138 kilometers long destination where even for driver’s security police escort was arranged.
