commenced Assam’s operation from Tezpur’s headquarter at Hatappeswar or Hadappeswara
which today lying in ruins, estimated to be a favorable tourism
destination with potentiality to drive large scale general tourists to
geologists for valuable information.

dynasty’s power to alter the then current capital city Pragjyotishpura to
Hadappeswara in its district. The devastated old complexes’ of Tezpur ruined by the
wrath of natural calamities and war, exposes holy imprint of lord Shiva and
