RBI’s Powerful Shock of Rs. 5 Lakh Penalty is Yet to be recovered



No fuss while dealing with Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) official demand by national banks who recently made a shocking act in the entire nation by imposing Rs 5 lakh penalty where Guwahati branch The Cooperative City Bank was included in their hit list for not adhering to the KYC norms.


Including Guwahati Cooperative City Bank branch another three banks were imposed with heavy penalty with different rates for not updating RBI on proper track record of customer identity information and doubtful transaction of money.


Including Assam rest of Cooperative Banks in India like Indapur Urban Cooperative Bank, Pune (penalty of Rs 2 lakh ), Shri Dadasaheb Gajmal Cooperative Bank, Pachora (penalty of Rs 1 lakh) and The Model Cooperative Urban Bank, Hyderabad (penalty of Rs 1 lakh) were warned with these strict notices.
