the GIC Pensioners’ Association has made an effort to contribute an amount of
Rs. 5001 to make a change for betterment of the flood affected people when Assam is
at the time of sea of challenges.
This contribution is
made from the fund of GIC Pensioners’ Association to boost Chief Minister’s
tremendous drive to aid the flood-affected people. TV channels of Assam have
opened a helpline to contribute for the flood affected either through bank
account or deliverance of necessary items at their said address.
The GIC body had contributed
to help the affected people whose habitats were destroyed by the wave of floods
in the State through a TV channel affirmed by its general secretary Ramen
Sharma.
