Initiative
for healthy function of a village, Model Village Adoption Programme was
launched by Government of India in association with Indian Institute of
Entrepreneurship, (IIE body under the Ministry of Skill Development and
Entrepreneurship) to enable free medical service at Pyranga Eri Cluster, Assam.
For welfare of domestic animals and villagers by providing vaccines to the
herbivorous and free eye check up to people through instrumentation of this
scheme.
About
158 villagers were provided with free eye check up at Pyranga, Boko eye camp
that was headed by Dr. Madhurya Gogoi. In the vaccine camp there was total
medical staffs of 20 from JBF and IIE centers who conducted vaccination on 192
cattle.
Apart
from vaccines even required medicines for proper maintenance of domestic
animals was availed to 313 cattle, 154 pigs, 2133 chickens and 313 cattle under
this govt designed programme with initiative of IIE and Just Be Friendly (JBF)
groups.
