Meghalaya and Assam to Settle Differences for Future Progress


Taking on to Modi's path Chief Minister of Assam Sarbanda Sonwal­­­­ has extended hands with Meghalaya government to settle decade’s old land disputes like a family issue and cement the battered relationship. As both the states have intense potentialities to collaborate for stronger economic growth if previous blues are set aside and extend hands as a part of family. 

Trying to repeat the history of seven sisters state, Sonowal positive about bridging strong ties with Meghalaya by curbing hostile border issues had added, "We would like to move together as a family. The Northeastern region is a family."

This is just the beginning of BJP government’s attempt to materialize the big expectation of a new era. Sonowal on his new venture of improving family ties, he added, "With Consultations everything is possible. These disputes are family issues. We need to strengthen the region together."

Expecting to build a stronger bond with its flourishing neighboring states, CM Sonowal during his  visit to Meghalaya to attend North Eastern Council plenary meet expressed, "There are a lots of potentials for the region if we move together," at the Chief Secretary-level talks between the two states.
