ONGC the biggest oil body of India which claims to be the
greatest revenue provider of India has initiated broad gesture to adopt two bio-villages
of remote Tripura state to carve it with modern touch to influence other
existent villages to play as a role model in branding the state and it culture.
The ONGC Oil Group of India in its attempt to blend few of
Tripura villages to create a futuristic model village as a part agreement with
the state government to initiate in its project to represent the region as a
developed area of India. On this account ONGC has initiated to make major
investment for the fast progress on its model village projects.
In this state’s objective two develop its two bio-villages in
Agartala like Echamuah and one near the capital city Amtali under Chief
Minister Biblap Kumar Deb to make Tripura a development model in India has
inked agreement with Directorate of Bio-Technology to help represent these
remote regions as model villages.
