Arunachal Pradesh Extends Hands with Assam for Development

Arunachal Pradesh like other states of Northeast have decades old land disputes after partition from Assam, urging the state Minister Sarbananda Sonwal to settle this heated chapter between the two neighbors, Chief Minister Kalika Pul extended hands for united work  for progress at the Brahmaputra State Guest House, Guwahati.

Minister Kalika Pul during his brief dialogue with Sonowal expressed his deep urge to extend his hands as friends with Assam if the land disputes between the two neighboring states are solved. In the future the two states will co-operate for next level development process by establishing a hydro power project. Without co-operation between two states this hydro power project is not possible according to Pul. But before enabling hydro power project in Arunachal, responsibility surmounts on Sonowal to win local people's confidence. In Northeast history this will be the first hydro power project to make two states energy sufficient.
