CM Himanta Regrets For Govt’s Fault But Defends SEBA From Tarnish

Confronting heated statewide issue on HSLC paper leakage, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma accepted government’s failure in controlling such misfortune, but defended that SEBA board is an acting body to circulate question paper, and  if the responsible person positioned at exam centre distributes the papers to the illegal hands for the sake of money for which the education body is no to be blamed.

Enthuse the students by CM Himanta that the government is ready to secure their future and make all safe arrangements to help them appear in a fair exam.

Assam Finance Minister Emphasize Tea Community With Quota Job

A separate sub-category in OBC where 3 percent reservation will be secured for the Adivasi tea community in government jobs, a new set of rule passed by the Finance Minister Ajanta Neog during budget session.

This advantage to tea community is to mark 200 years celebration of Assam Tea, which Finance Minister Ajanta Neog marked during her budget speech. According to Neog the government to take extra edge to brand Assam Tea by displaying its rich socio-cultural heritage of tea community and to incentivize production of orthodox tea and specialty tea of the state.

Assam CM Himanta On Karnataka Poll Campaign Fields To Clear Madrassas

On the mark of New India mission by the BJP government, the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma fields on the coming Karnataka Assembly polls with a new proposal to the people to eradicate all madrassas as the existence of such education is creating a threat to the civilization and culture of the country.

Assam has already initiated to secure a secular education system and to convert all madrassas to general educational  institutions with no radical elements that spurts animosity in the peace of the society.

CID Police Give A Chase To Multiple Students And Teachers Of Assam

HSLC (Higher School Leaving Certificate) paper leakage, the CID police has arrested multiple students and many teachers who are on probe for the spill in exam questions in Assam

Districts like Dibrugarh, Lakhimpur and Tinsukia of Assam reports paper leakage not only in science but even maths paper. This has rocked (ASSU) All Assam Students Union body all over Assam, and marched protest vehemently all over the state on SEBA’s malfunction on installing fair exam.

Education Minister Ranoj Pegu Squeezed For Resignation On SEBA's Malfunction

Today ASSU (All Assam Students Union)  across statewide made a severe protest for education Minister Ranoj Pegu and the SEBA Chairman Ramsesh CH Jain for the inability to control repeated paper leakage in board exams.

SEBA Chairman was accused for the failure in managing paper leak outs even after resuming in the post for five years term. ASSU demands for drastic change in SEBA system and its staff.

Under Tight Security Assam HSLC Science Paper Managed To Leak

If this is technology adversity than not only education system but even the internal system of the state is affected, where student’s toil in preparing for the exam comes to a stall and have to get their exams delayed.

This psychological stress for the students and parents are equivalently heavy, though CBI has undertaken the matter and three culprits were tapped for enquiry on higher secondary exam paper leak even after tight security. Politically this HSLC paper leak is percept to weaken SEBA so that frustrated students get diversified to other education board. Currently the cancelled science  paper will take place on 30th March.

APEDA’s Organic Destination Dream Is Far From Reality

Natural food processing in Assam has drop down quality with too much chemical inject, but still the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) dreams of promoting the state as ‘unique and distinct destination’ for organic and natural food products.

APEDA stated to have couple of plans to materialize this dream in the coming months. Starting from the base, focusing the farmers and the students APEDA is finding tactics to make Assam as organic food destination; that’s tough in large.

Karnataka’s Santosh Trophy Win Had Assam’s Essence

It was the 27 years old goal keeper Satyajit Bordoloi who was the key to turn the game in Karnataka’s favor as he valiantly defended volley of balls against him to stop powerful opponent Meghalaya from making scores.

Satyajit on this win misses his father to prove him correct by choosing this field though he not there with him due to his untimely demise. It is from Morigaon from where Satyajit held and made Assam prou by making the rare performance that ever anyone from Northeast dared to make.

Lachit Borphukon Enters Guinness World Record

This unimaginable fact made possible by the Assam government not that because the late legendary Ahom general Bir Lachit Borphukan did something, but due to worldwide students’ contribution to leave a handwritten note on this fond memory to mark 400th birth anniversary  at the website launched in October 2022 by the Chief Minister Himanta Biswas.

But never imagined this small step by the Assam government would attract 42, 94,350 handwritten tribute notes in 23 dialects  from all over the world, which was transformed to online photo album; considered to be largest by the Guinness World Record.

Chief Minister Himanta was accredited with Guinness World Record certificate by Swapnil Dangarikar the adjudicator of the international organization at Janta Bhawan. Showered gratitude to the students by the Chief Minister Himanta, who did the impossible job after receiving the Guinness World Record certificate.

Big Flaw In Lakhimpur Healthcare Infrastructure Alerts Public Of Assam

The state government has done major development in healthcare sector with installation of good number of medical colleges and hospitals with modified technology, but the fall of ceiling on an empty bed at the ward of Maternity and Child healthcare Centre of Lakhimpur Medical College stirred doubts on the reliability of authority’s work.

The matter became sensitive to Lakhimpur people’s sentiment as the horrific incident took place where mother with newborn babies were present. Luckily there was no casualty to life as the bed was empty. Hazarika Construction company was held for this incident including multiple leakage in the LMCH infrastructure.

Today again Assam rocked, it was early in morning when earthquake shook with more intensity than the previous mild tremors, the National Centre of Seismology notified that the magnitude was 4.1, holding its epicenter in Kamrup.

There was no casualty reported expected that woke up the late riser early in the morning at 3:59 a.m. with a little jitter. But such continued series could cause unpredictable harm.

Meghalaya So Near To Big Ball Dream Yet Faraway From Karnataka’s Clutch

Chasing the big football dream title the Santosh Trophy so near, finally the ace players of Karnataka used their careful tactics to break free from Meghalaya’s tight chase to land the winning goal to settle the grueling match for 3-2 win.

Despite the loss, Meghalaya football team left its superior essence throughout the match by knocking off the challenging and unbeaten competitors to become favorite for Santosh Trophy title which was not in their fate this time.

Shubam, Assam Accredited To Become I League Head Coach

Edged above AFC B license, now Subham Rabha from Assam qualifies for the second highest level of coaching the AFC A license issued by the Assam Football Confederation (AFC).

It was NEUFC football exposure that made Subham an accomplished coach at the age of 26 years when he became the youngest AFC B License coach at 26. Today at sheer hard work and consistency Subham at 29 eligible to lead an I League team, considered as the second-tier football league of India. Started from a school in 2013 as a coach today Subham becomes a national A category coach.

More Mini Powerful Earthquake To Topple Down More Houses In Guwahati

What Assam government has initiated as encroachment measure has devastated houses of more than 300 families and next is Bondajan to receive the next tremor that even major earthquakes could not do such devastation.

Today people are trembling for mercy from the government as exams are near and dream of residing on one’s own shelter will be gone. Huge landscape of big concrete houses which had certified documents of house permission lay shattered as if a powerful earthquake had struck Silasako of Guwahati city. 

Government is in the gear up to clear all obstacles to control artificial flood in Guwahati if more tremors to go. In the plight to have a house in Guwahati people did not even  pay heed to restricted water reservoir or beel land as government did not show any stern measure. Prior to the two day notice to Bondajan area people, the government may allow more time so that the HSLC students may appear for exam.
