People of rural areas are affected by poor quality drinking water that rose multiple health issues, The Government of Assam made MoU pact with Water Aid India to carry out Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) to connect drinking water in every household tap of rural areas.
There are majority of houses in rural areas without running water, the government has a big challenge on stipulated time set. Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) of Assam government, how far effective in securing the total health of the rural people is a big question though new pipe water supply projects conceptualized.
