Central government has decided to boost the organic fertilizer production apart from chemical ones, so the launch of Namrup Biofertilizer plant, Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd (BVCFL) wawas made.
This enhancement of biofertilizer production has been made to retain the quality of the soil and so its fertility to ensure rich growth of crops as continued processing of chemical fertilizer deteriorates the quality of the soil.
