It is a path breaking glory a Assamese girl Nayanmoni Saikia brought to India by winning gold in Lawn Bowling at Common Wealth Games in Birmingham as Hema Das created sensational win in running as everybody is aware.
But difference is that Hema Das brought individual glory where Nayanmoni Saikia did it in group of three women by defeating South Africa at lawn bowling and adding fourth gold for India. Even PM Narendar Modi could not stop praising the ladies for the historic win in lawn bowling and making the country proud.
