Environment of Guwahati is heated up today with arrest of University students for protesting on major default in exam results of caliber candidates who should not have failed where GU authority could have made a mutual understanding as the crowd was strong with pack 500 plus students instead of creating negative impression.
Now a student knows one’s caliber and if fighting for justice they are being beaten up and barred in jail then what example Guwahati University education system is setting for young genre? To become like anti national like Barshashree Buragohain who out of frustration on the political system wrote a poem inspiring people to join ULFA extremist and to terrorize to seek justice?
Upcoming genre is of soft mind and their morals could be imprinted well for long term in which way to serve the nation where now the students of 500 plus if beaten up and put to imprisonment for asking Guwahati University administration to reconsider the exam results of major fifth semester students.
The students and the PGSU (Post Graduate Student’s Union) of the University had alleged erratic marks in fifth semester result where even the exam was set in advance without giving enough time to prepare as flood and COVID had played havoc on their studies. Many students missed classes as they were unable to attend due to COVID and flood impediments.
Today the students who are already terrorized by their bad results and severs the impact by beating them and putting them in jail by Guwahati University administration what they will influence the society to terror and live outlaw lifestyle? ULFA is looking for recruitment as they are sloping where Taliban extremist is fast spreading in Assam. All they need is warm welcome from dejected nationalists. It is not this year but past many years back Guwahati University administration playing the same foul game of failing students and destroying their future as present genre exposes. One or two could lie but not in hundreds.
Jalukbari police station has made a bad impression for locking up so many students who wanted to excel in life for seeking justice through revaluation of exam papers which cost 300 to 700 plus if student voluntarily pays. One arrest police made in Assam to turn a student from anti national act, the famous Barshashree Buragohain poem which we know, now Guwahati University student arrest what actually they want to set for the present genre is a big question? A bit ashamed what in Guwahati Univerity had happened on 2nd August.
