Railways to elevate tourist destinations laid on 111 kms Imphal-Jiribam rail line which would not be an economic benefit to the region but a boost to tourism according to the Union Minister for Textiles.
Under this plan to boost tourism in this stretch of Imphal-Jiribam line the Railways to erect low budget hotels or leisure areas on the first floor of some railway stations apart from installing such facility under the bridges or tunnels. Installation for such convenient leisure infrastructures will be installed as per to tourist inflow.
Interestingly the Railways authority to make this stretch of Imphal-Jiribam line as favorable picnic spot and shooting spot to feature it as intensive crowd pulling tourism place.
